These are high quality well-made brushes. The fiber is dense, trimmed well and no shedding is evident. The handles are also nicely shaped and finished.The only issue is that the box is not that sturdy. It came a little banged up but the brushes were fine.Some handle paint color transfer inside the box so just make note of this. Keep them in your shoe shine kit, not on your fine linens ;)These are larger and denser than most brushes in this price range and far superior to anything I’ve seen in this category since I was a kid!Highly recommend the black and white combination unless you only have black shoes. This way it’s clear which one is intended only for your black leather.I’m very impressed with this product except for the box which is only a potential issue if this is a gift.

I use these a variety of brushes on a bunch of different leather boots. These brushes are the best I have used to date. The ample length and densely packed yet soft hair dusts and polishes with ease. A few strokes is enough for a quick daily restore before stepping out. A more thorough use will apply a nice buff to any grain leather. The wooden handle is solid and has a nice heft, and gentle curve to the palm, and a premium look. Going through and re finishing my leather boots is a relaxing evening ritual and these have added to it. So far they are holding up well with no fraying or loss of hair. A single brush would have been a satisfactory product but the addition of a second alternative color brush is a fantastic bonus.

These are big. I wasn’t sure I would like how big these were at first but it was so fast to buff the crème wax on my boot. I I can’t tell if there is a difference In softness between the two so I’m just using the dark one for black and the light one for neutrals.

Check the dimensions before buying, for some reason I was thinking this was a little bit smaller brush, but I was pleasantly surprised when a full size brush showed up. Does seem to be 100% genuine horsehair and leaves a nice finish on the couple skins I’ve tried it on(standard leather, ostrich, and alligator). The horsehair is also bonded to a nice wood handle that seems like it will hold up for quite some time. Very nice

I got these brushes to maintain a very expensive pair of new boots. they are really nice quality, and as described.I am using one as a dry brush, just as a dry brush to brush off any dust/debris and even that is enough to get a half decent finish. I have not needed to use polish (the boots are new) but i am certain these brushes will function as intended and expected. They’re just like the ones my grandpa used to use, just ya know, new.

These are great shoe brushes. They do an excellent job cleaning dust and dirt off my cowboy boots and dress boots. The bristles are densely packed yet still soft, and the shape is comfortable to hold. Since they are natural hair brushes you should expect some shedding, but that is typical.
