Step 1Use our Leather Cleaner on the smooth leather you wish to restore. Apply with the cleaning microfiber cloth featured in this kit to remove stains, dust, and other imperfections unrelated to the leather’s natural deterioration. |
Step 2Sample our Leather Color Restorer on a small, hidden spot to make sure the color is what you are looking for. If you need a little lighter tone, mix some white into it; if you need it darker, mix some black instead. |
Step 3Brush it on with the Foam Dauber Polish Applicator! Once dry, re-apply our Leather Color Restorer if necessary. Desired result will show. Finally, use our Satin Finish Top Coat to seal the formula in. |

I used this kit exactly as the instruction sheet said and my leather purse and wallet looks like new.

I should have taken before photos because the after ones look like my vehicle’s leather seats are brand new! Unbeknownst to me, one of my winter coats was scratching the leather seats of my SUV every time I was getting in and out of my car. I finally realized the scratches and was beyond frustrated and at a loss as to what to do since the leather is perforated. After much searching and reading of reviews, I found this stuff. It was like a magic wand! Don’t hesitate to buy this!

I waited to write the review until after the couch got some use. The toddler was destroying the leather couch and we weren’t about to go and buy a new couch until he gets older. I was hesitant to try this because I had used a different product on a bench and it looked cheap. But I did it anyway and am very happy with the results. It doesn’t look like a DIY project at all. The color is rich and has dimension with a nice shine. I forgot to take a photo until after I had started applying the color. I went a little darker to help hide the flaws and included is white and black to adjust the darkness of the stain to your liking. I have enough product left over to do the couch and loveseat again If it gets more damage but so far so good.

Easy to use and did a great job. Only drawback was I couldn’t use my Leather Lazy Boy for three days while the restoration was drying properly. a Great product.

Have not done the couch yet in the photo but the chair in the photo was same color / discoloring exactly as couch that hadn’t been done yet so put picture of couch for reference of color how the chair turned out after the dark brown was used to revolve chair works very well color has not come off even after cleaning decent product

The media could not be loaded. I must say it took literally months to decide to purchase this product. My leather furniture is at least 10 years old. After a dozen big dogs, cats and kids, my furniture was needing a facelift. After I bit the bullet and bought the Leather Hero Leather Color Restorer Kit in Burgundy.Following the simple directions to “clean,” “color,” and finish with the @top coat.” I put on my big girl panties and started in. I was concerned that the container of dye could never be enough to complete my recliner. It did. The provided applicator did at times scrape the dye off, but that was due to my distraction and the thickness of the dye itself never ran despite the vertical position of the recliner and love seat. I was able to hit the majority of the surfaces of my loveseat as well. I will order another container of this dye to have on hand and to go over everything to make sure I didn’t miss any areas. The finish product returned my furniture to a more stunning appearance than when it was purchased new. I will admit that I haven’t “completed the top coat” yet as I want to get another bottle of the dye. It has been about a month since I dyed the furniture initially and despite the animals continued use of the furniture, the luster is still outstanding. There had been no snuffing of the dye off from my Large Chow Chows feet. He even licked the arm rest of the recliner, something he never did before with no I’ll effects for the furniture or the dog, lol. This product more than exceeded my expectations! I have not had anyone over due to COVID but eagerly recommend this product to everyone! One friend kept telling to that I really needed to get new furniture from the way they previously looked. I can’t wait for it to be seen now by them!Definitely do not need to buy new furniture. I am beyond happy with this product!

This product was great it covered the faded leather and made it look brand new. You would never know there was a spot on my recliner. I would recommend it to everyone for your leather needs.

Update. The clolor held for ~3 months, but the leather started showing wear again. But….the couch does get extensive use by us and 2 small dogs. But this product is so easy and quick to apply and inexpensive I have no problem reapplying again. The amount I have will last a cuple of years easily. Still beats the cost and trouble of buying new leather couches! We have had these leather sofas from La-Z-Boy for 13 years and they were really showing wear on the seat cushions. It was embarrassing. We decided we were going to have to just fork out $5,000 to replace them. I had tried shoe polish and it only worked for a week or two before it wore off again. I Googled leather dyeing and was going to pay someone to come repair the couches if that was even an option. That’s when I came across this Leather Hero product. So glad I did. My couches’ leather has some red in it so I ordered the mahogany, but when it arrived it was solid chocolate brown. I contacted the seller and they kindly sent me a jar of red. I carefully mixed some red into the brown and I applied it with the sponge applicator and then rubbed it with my hand to evenly distribute the dye. No idea how long it will last but easy enough to reapply every few months if I have to. Extremely satisfied.

We have a couch that my son loves to put his bare feet on. Over a period of about 6 years, the color wore out. After reading the positive reviews of this product I decided to give it a try. I chose the darkest brown available, and when the kit came it included a cleaner/conditioner, the dye, a bottle of black dye and a bottle of white dye in case the brown would need to be darkened or lightened, a finishing polish, and a couple of sponge applicators with plastic handles on the back. This was really easy to use, and had clear instructions. I cleaned the leather (one photo shows the leather right after the cleaning prep), and it dried quickly. I then brushed on the brown dye and found I didn’t need to adjust the color. By lightly feathering it in, the dye blended in nicely with the areas that I left untreated. This dries slightly darker than it looks while wet. Cleanup was a breeze with a tiny dot of dish soap and some water on the sponge applicator. The next day, I applied the finishing polish to seal in the dye, and we waited a little while to make sure it was dry before sitting on it. We have been using the couch for a couple of weeks since then with good results and with no transference of the dye to our clothing. The other photo shows the couch after it was finished, and I’m happy knowing that it will be easy to continue taking care of the couch with this product.
