Accessories on VarioClipThe Compact C1 Turbo Team comes standard with three additional accessories, conveniently clipped to the hose. Included accessories are a dusting brush, upholstery tool and crevice tool – all of which are suited to clean those hard-to-reach places. |
AirClean Sealed SystemThe Miele AirClean filter system, consisting of a genuine Miele dustbag, motor protection filter and AirClean exhaust filter, ensures maximum filtration. Holy cow. Our Dyson is getting old and is frankly a pain to use. Always heard about Miele’s reputation. This thing is light weight, super easy to maneuver and has variable suction settings. It’s great for a;; the different things you vacuum. Comes with attachments and two heads – one for carpet/rugs, one for hard floors. Everything is controllable with a light foot touch, including the auto retracting cord. The heads also fit under furniture and that just saves time. Now for the main thing a vacuum should do, clean. We did a side by side comparison using the Miele after the Dyson and the Dyson after the Miele. Miele always performed better. It got dirt the Dyson did not, but not the Dyson did not pick up dirt after the Miele. Enough said.

This is a canister vacuum cleaner with a powered attachment for extra cleaning power on carpets. The canister measures approximately 16x9x8″. It comes with a telescoping metal wand that slides out with push button to exactly the length that you need. What makes this Miele model different from its C1 Pure Suction twin is the powered floor attachment. The powered foot attachment has a button that allows 2 height adjustments for different pile of carpets. You control the suction power of the vacuum with the large dial on the canister; the dial has 6 settings. In use, the vacuum pumps out 66 decibels of sound, which is comparable to other Miele models, but quiet compared to many other vacuums that I have tried. Included with the vacuum are attachments for hardwood floors, dusting, crevices, and upholstery. The smaller attachments clip onto a handy carrier that clips on to the canister at the hose. The vacuum cord autowinds if you press the button on the back of the canister. For storage, you can stand the canister upright and hang the foot and metal wand on the clip on the side of the vacuum. As soon as I got this vacuum, I put it through my flour test–I spread a thick layer of white flour on a Persian carpet, then tried to see how much flour the vacuum could pick up in one pass. First, I tried my old Miele model, a C1 from 2016 with a non-powered foot; see the first stripe on the right in the photo below. Then I tried this vacuum with the power foot going forwards (2nd stripe from the right), backwards (3rd stripe), and non-powered foot backwards (4th stripe from right). In general, this new C1 with the powered floor attachment did a nice job cleaning. Notice, however, that the cleaning stripes with the powered floor attachment are only 11″ wide, while the non-powered foot is a full 12″ wide.Overall, I have been very pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It’s very compact and lightweight, yet it has all the power I need to get my house clean. The powered foot does a good job of pulling dust and hair out of my carpets, and the crevice tool makes stairs and sofa corners a breeze.

I had a 25 year old Kenmore canister vacuum that worked great. I wanted a cordless Dyson instead. Yes, it’s awesome to have no cord and the Dyson worked well. After 3 years, my Dyson has died. Since I have 1 dog and 2 cats, I needed a vacuum STAT. Amazon, of course. I read the reviews for this vacuum and decided to give it a shot. Glad I did. This unit has so many different levels of suction and it’s so easy to use. Yeah, having the canister isn’t as convenient as a stick vacuum but for the power that you get, it’s worth it.I’m hoping it lasts for many, many years like my heavy old Kenmore did. You know, after using that old vacuum for 25 years, I sold it for $40.00! Not a bad return, lol. Can’t say the same for my Dyson V8 Animal. ?

I like many people was lead to believe that Dyson and Shark are as good as it gets. Wrong. I remember my parents using bagged vacuums as a kid and when the time came for me to buy my own for my house, bag less vacuums were pretty much the only option. After doing lots of research I came across this little guy. I have been blown away by how much suction this thing has. Having the vacuum head detached from the main unit allows for MUCH easier maneuverability. I can reach every nook and cranny of my house. I’ve been on the same bag for 3 weeks and it still isn’t full. Cannot recommend this thing enough. There is a learning curve with moving the canister around, but since it has wheels on the bottom and sides, it slides around extremely easily. I’ll never return to upright bagless vacuums after this. (PS. had two Dysons, first one lasted 9 years, the other one only lasted 4).

Light weight! Much quieter than any I’ve seen before. Compact. Great suctioning power! The handle attaches to the body and it stands occupying a small space. After 3 kenmores in the last 5-6 years never going back! Great as well with my carpets. I cannot imagine the more expensive models because I bought one of the cheapest with two heads and it is amazing! Happy!

I was initially surprised at just HOW compact this Miele unit is — about half the size of the Eureka Excalibur 12 amp canister model it replaced. So I was surprised when this unit outperformed the much larger, much heavier, much noisier, more powerful Eureka. Got more dirt and tracked cat litter in an area that had just been vacuumed by the Eureka. The smaller size and lighter weight makes it much easier to carry around and use, especially in tight spaces. The floor attachment rotates to only being about 2 inches high, so it’s easy to get under furniture like couches and beds.Does a great job of eliminating shedded cat hair and nails as well.I see some users complaining that this unit didn’t do as well as they had expected with deep pile carpet and large amounts of dog hair. Breaking News: Miele has other models specifically for that purpose, and yes they cost more. This unit is a great all-around vacuum for most normal household dirt. If you have commercial levels of dirt or use or have dogs with long hair, then get a unit designed for those applications!

We live in an 1100 square foot 2 story town home and this vacuum is absolutely PERFECT for us. We have hardwood floors and tile throughout most of our home with carpet on the stairs and upstairs hallway. The hard wood floor attachment is absolutely perfect for cleaning up debris and dust off the floors, I can pretty much make our broom an outdoor tool only now. The turbo head does an absolutely fantastic job on our low pile carpet and is maneuverable enough on the stairs to vacuum the stairs. The vacuum is quiet, super light weight and portable and has just the right amount of attachments for our needs and incredible suction power. This is our 2nd Miele vacuum, we had the upright Salsa before this and it was just too heavy and big to use in our town-home. I would highly recommend the C1 Turbo Team to anyone in a similar sized home as us, and of course Miele is just unmatched. I don’t care where this thing is made, its still a Miele and they make amazing products.

You know you’re old when you ask for a good vacuum cleaner for your birthday!! I really like this one, it’s everything I was looking for. I have some carpet upstairs (soon to be replaced with laminate) and laminate/hardwood downstairs with area rugs. It works beautifully on all. Over the years we have had several uprights (Shark) that worked fine except when using the hose and tools. Inevitably I would pull too hard and it would fall over, breaking something. By the end of it’s life there would be duct tape, hose clamps, cotter pins, etc. holding things together. They are not made for all around cleaning. I especially love the auto rewind cord and the long METAL tube. I can vacuum the cobwebs, corners in rooms, and today I was able to vacuum under my bed WITH the power roller. I used to have to use a different vacuum for these things. Highly recommended.
